A cool take on Plants vs Zombies!
Not knowing the first round, I just put a Dragoon on a random square, but then didn't have enough SuperChats to spawn any more. I guess we have to put two Egg goons first, but even then it was really hard to fight off the enemies as they spawn so much in the 2nd wave. So difficulty wise, I thought it was a bit too hard.
Until I figured out chaining! And then I somehow had 25k SuperChats! The only other gripe was having to click on the specific Dragoon to spawn and then on the square, fighting for time on the wave of enemies. But once I was able to spawn my units, it was a lot easier when I changed them.
The art work was cute. I like the different enemies.
This is a fun game once you make use of the chain mechanic. If you try to play it like regular PvZ it's too difficult.
I think I got a bug (or maybe it's intentional?) but when I completed a full column of eggs and connected them all together, a lot of superchat appeared at once, making my total jump to 4500 or something. That made it very easy to spawn a lot of the fighter dragoons and win the game.
It would be cool to have on-screen numeric indicators of all the effects that are stacking on each dragoon. For example: +100 SC/second, +20 health/second and so on. You could maybe hold a key to toggle them on/off, so that the screen isn't cluttered with data all the time.
Good job!
This was so difficult! I would love to see a more fleshed out version of this game because I can see this being immensely fun. Some tooltips about what each thing costs/do in game could be helpful, since I was scrolling up and down to read the description to play. Great job so far!
Tomato army is scary. I love PvZ kind of games. Hope I can see how much each cost tho!
Difficulty is a bit too high.
The units die a bit too fast to chain, but at least I was able to defeat some units. The issue is there are too many coming in at once and I don't have enough units to deal with them. Overall aesthetically, good try on the art!
Very cool! I wish am able to see how much things cost.
The TF2 announcer game me a laugh!
