How does your game fit into the theme?
You have to survive waves of enemies. Each wave you survive, you get to pick between some abilities. You can equip these abilities in a inventory, where each ability triggers the next on hitting an enemy. So Bullet -> Explosion -> FireWave, for example.

You could add  little bushes of grass to the background so players could see that Doki is actually moving.

Good implementation! It was nice being able to equip different weapons to each mouse button. Not too hard and the 3 weapon variety led to some fun gameplay. Nice work!

The main gripe is that when the level changes, and if I was clicking from attacking, I would automatically click on an upgrade too quickly. And maybe moving some of the UI so they don't overlap, but that's more minor in terms of gameplay.

The "attack chaining" is an interesting variation on the genre staples! In general, I think more polish could help this one (for instance: the background being a static color and making navigation feel a little strange).

Loved the inventory and attack chaining mechanics. Once voting ends, I’d love to hear those sound effects and music you teased after the final wave. You’ve convinced me to try out Godot again, so bravo!

I'm glad to hear that! I'm hoping to add more than just 3 abilities as well at some point, though rn, I'm just trying to figure out how to stop the UI from completely falling apart in different resolutions. It'd be so much easier if I could just use CSS ;-;

I was shooting at someone, someone was shooting at me, I was receiving some 'bonuses,' and no matter what I chose in the scene, it had absolutely no effect.

I had to spend time searching for information on how to use what I selected, if it was even possible.

It definitely needs a bit more polishing.

Oh yeah, a similar problem happened to me as well! It'll be great to equip these upgrades. However, I found the gameplay loop really fun!
