Interesting idea! Possibly a glitch, I beat a chainsaw-armed guy, but then picked up his arm, and it was only a hook. It was hard to pick up limps. I saw someone mention mouse for aiming. Maybe there could be a left or right click on a limb to swap to that limb.
hey yo,
interesting, I haven’t seen that glitch happen myself, but given the quality of jam code it’s very much possible
yeah, I’m actually eager to experiment a little bit with mouse aiming once I have some free time on my hands, sounds like it might be a game changer indeed
thank you for playing!!
A creative idea for a game, I like how the jam theme was implemented. I would like to be able to adjust the volume in the main menu. I'm a little confused in the controls, but it's not that important. I think it's possible to make a limb attack with the mouse depending on the angle of the click. I'm not sure I explained it clearly.
oh shoot, I haven’t even thought about mouse aiming, interesting suggestion, thank you!
and thank you for playing!
like the others said the tutorial is good
i stil lhad trouble picking up new limbs thr and i think needing only one key to pick them up would make it much more easier
hey, thank you for playing!
you are probably right, holding down a key and pressing a key that normally does something else is not very intuitive unfortunately, especially when the keys are so close to each other
glad you found the tutorial useful!
I think this is the first game I rated an overall 5/5 for all categories! The tutorial (which I am super thankful for!) was pretty confusing at first, but the fact that it gives you a safe space to try out the controls is a godsend. Additionally, the controls being laid out in game was super helpful as well.
I was pretty impressed that the enemy AI has variation too! Great game, good stuff!
wow dude, it’s as if you stole my diary just to write a comment praising all the little details I wanted someone to notice xd
I am very very glad you enjoyed the game and thank you very very much for playing!!

Pretty fun and I like this interpretation of the theme! Controls felt a bit weird at first but it was smooth once I got used to it.
One thing I didn't really like though is the sound design, because of the lack of music and the unpleasant SFX.
But overall I had fun and I like the concept, nice job :)
thank you for playing, glad you liked the game!
yeah, I wasn’t really satisfied with the lack of music as well, but neither of us on the team is a musician unfortunately
if we get around to making a post-jam update, we will definitely have to revisit the controls
cheers
Cool idea it was very hard to control though. Also some progression like stronger limbs would've been a nice addition.
thank you for playing!
yeah, the limbs actually vary in stats, the original plan was to have a level with predefined enemies, so then you would encounter enemies with progressively stronger limbs as you go
however, we settled for a wave mode and instead made the enemies spawn at random
the controls scheme could use a rework too, I agree fully
Hilariously fun game and creative take on the theme!!
I thought the controls with dropping and swapping limbs were a little confusing, and didn't quite grasp it, even with the tutorial, but I still thought the gameplay was fun and interesting!
Great work, I'm sure this one will do really well in the final results of the jam. :)
-D
heey, thank you very much for playing!
glad you liked the game!
yeah, the limb controls are far from perfect, we were debating on how this should be implemented for a while (there was even an idea of a menu popping up where you would select limb you want to replace/swap), but in the end we settled for this scheme
had the jam been longer, maybe we'd come up with something better
thank you again for playing and for the feedback!!
Didn’t get to hit anyone with a RKO… Minus Five Stars
Good game however I really like the systems even if the button mapping for everything felt super awkward, was not a fan of it. Good use of theme, good gameplay, audio is brutal to be honest I would try stick with a simple track next time and more subtle SFX the deep bass on the hits made me have to play on mute.
Overall though I am a big fan, think the game was pretty well made. Nice stuff
yeah, the sounds didn't receive as much care as they should have
the controls are this way because we more or less knew what mechanics we want in the game, but we had no idea how to make intuitive controls for them
make it a minus 2 stars and I will implement RKO just for you in a post jam update (please don't do that actually, I wouldn't handle the pressure)
thank you very much for playing and the feedback!!
Good game, innovative gameplay, the music is a bit jarring though in my opinion, had to turn my volume way down.
super glad you liked it!
yeah, neither of us is a composer unfortunately (that's why there is no music during the actual gameplay xD), but I didn't want the menu to be completely silent
Hehe, cool game, but a bit weird how your limb hp regenerates after each wawe. >///<
thank you for playing!
yeah, maybe that was a little bit of a weird choice, but we were anxious the game is pretty difficult as it is
