That was fun! It seems like theres actually some cool cover seeking AI on the shooting enemies, and I like the system of having block ammo and shoot ammo. I like the codifying of each of these things to a basic shape as well, made it easy to understand what the enemy types would do, though I guess the big squares kinda break that rule a bit.

I like the game, though it was lacking music and the art was too simple for my taste. I could definitely see more ways of mutating the player, such as an upgrade to shoot double projectiles, or maybe when you get a mutation the enemies do too or something. In any case, it was a lot of fun, but the upgrades didn't feel like a large enough change if you ask me. Nice entry!

Yeah if I ever redo a more complete version I'd like to improve on every point you mentioned. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice twin-stick shooter. Well executed, but without at least some music and shoot sound effect, it reduce the immersion. I like your home screen. Graphics are perhaps too simple (a classic trick is to had some bloom to give an neon aspect). Though mechanism and level design are efficient, good job.

Was a game, needs more theme.  The small upgrades were not enough to mutate the player.

Cool game, just needs some crazy fx and music and it would be a banger. Would be cool to also see it play in 2.5D or 3D.

Thanks!
