This is my favorite score so far, and figuring out how to distract the zombie had me feeling like a puzzle-solving protagonist

Thanks for the feedback. I really love the music Cormac made too.

A lack of play testing for the zombie like elsewhere. I realized later I forgot to have the zombie first say the line about the will of the undead one. Without it the puzzle is broken actually. Oh and maybe you meant the distraction in the graveyard. Hopefully you made it that far as well. It’s not easy due to some pixel hunting in the kitchen.

For the graveyard distraction, I actually had everything I needed in my inventory, so I got the satisfaction of trying something I thought was clever, and having it succeed on the first try! Earlier in the game, I didn't know right-clicking inventory items lets you look at them. So I went around clicking everything, looking for inspiration, and lo and behold! Kitchen drawers, with everything I needed to get puzzle-satisfaction later

Even though I am not very good at adventure games I still had fun with this. The writing and visuals were very reminiscent of the 90s Adventure Games, it's very charming.

Pretty cool game.

I wish it'd autosave though.

Developer

Thanks. It definitely needs that or a restart to previous point to be less annoying and unfair about player death. It’s a short thing for now anyways.  But I’ll put something in with a bug fix or post jam.

Autosave added for others. Sorry about that.
