Art is superb!  Controls were fine, but grabbing boxes didn't always work.  If that was rock solid, I would have probably been better, but the game was too hard for me.  I couldn't get past the second level.  Boss fight seemed impossible.  But I'm not very good at games, so I'm probably not a good judge.  Still, pretty fun grabbing and throwing boxes!

Simple and addictive gameplay, did find the spacebar to move a bit unintuitive but I got used to it. Fantastic UI, love the portrait too. I wasn't very good at it, but having a fullblown boss battle was very fun.

The sound effects were great, I wanted to launch boxes into chutes all day! Animations and art complemented it well, the gameplay loop was nice and easy to understand and I liked the story + final level. Sometimes I had difficulties with the distances I could pick up, so an artsy indicator showing a range on failed pickups would’ve been nice but that’s really a nitpick. This was a great entry, nice work!

We’re going to try and figure out why the box pickup has been finicky for some people. It never really gave us trouble but we weren’t able to do much play testing. I’m so happy that you liked the game though! I’m glad it was satisfying and easy to understand.  Thanks so much for your feedback! ✌🏻✌🏻

Great sleek and cartoony style, and luv that jazzy music!  The sound design on picking up and blasting in the boxes was also satisfying.  Downside would be I feel like picking up the boxes can get finicky, but I'm also used to gamepad controls so could just be me.

thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate it. I’m glad we got to participate in this awesome jam with so many other great games. It might not just be you, we’ve heard similar things from other people. We’re going to try and track that problem down. We just didn’t have that much time for playtesting and it didn’t come up for us. But such is the life of game dev 😂

This might be the best one I've played so far! The music and art are fantastic, the sound effects are satisfying, and the controls are incredible! They feel fresh, intuitive, and fun at the same time! (Seriously, you should make this a full game. I'd be first in line to buy it.)

The only nitpick I have is that it seems you can only pick up boxes while boosting with the space bar. Kind of weird, and made me lose my groove towards the end.

Fantastic job.

I’m glad you liked the game! It’s definitely an idea that we plan on expanding upon in the future. I’m glad you enjoyed the controls. We tried to do something different and experiment a little bit. Thanks for also pointing out the weird issue with picking up boxes. That wasn’t intentional and we’ll try to track down why that happens.  We really appreciate your feedback! You’re the best!

I loved the music, the art, and the humor! Very well executed! I think my one issue with the game is the controls, and I find myself wondering if there was a good reason not to go with something more “standard”. Maybe you were trying to make it a bit more difficult? Even so, it wasn’t so frustrating to detract from the enjoyment.

Developer

it was just what came out naturally and I thought it was just fun that it wasn’t standard. Game jams are just a great time to experiment ya know ✌🏻. Thanks so much for your feedback, and I’m glad you enjoyed the art cause my partner Dan killed it.

The gameplay was simple but fun! And I love the plot-twist at the end :D
