A very simple game, but an effective one. The gameplay is intuitive and easy to pick up, and it's a really clear and excellent implementation of the theme! At its core, it's very solid. The one real critique I have is that the left and right controls were a bit boggling as I tended to hover near the top of the screen, so they were reversed... but I'm really not sure what could be done about that. But other than that one thing, it felt very good to play!

For a game made in 3 hours its incredible. I could see myself playing this on the phone a lot. I saw where you said the spawning was messed up and I wish it wasn't because it would have made it more enjoyable. Good nevertheless!

I think it takes a little bit for it to ramp up but it gets intense in the 100 range! I also had a hard time seeing the implementation until you get a crystal, then you're a machine gun! I don't know what the batteries did though, maybe sped you up? Overall, great game! Especially for being made in 3 hours!

yeah the batteries speed you up!

Thanks man! That's what I thought but I wasn't too sure cuz I always got the other one lol

just 3 hours?! that's incredible! great implementation of the theme; i hadn't noticed anything until i recharged for the first time and realized, ''holy shit''

remember that scene in the matrix, when neo was like, ''why do my eyes hurt?'' and morpheus said, ''you've never used them before''

it was a lot like that
also the sound design in general is spectacular, great choice on those, they make recharging and everything immensely satisfying

Nice game considering its made in 3 hours. But can you explain the theme implementation here?

The theme implementation seems pretty clear to me, the more you fire the slower you move and are able to fire. It's gradual, but when you pick up an item and restore your movement, suddenly you realize what's happened.

Oops, I screwed up the spawn code. The game still works, but the enemy and loot spawning isn't as varied as it should be. The fix only required changing 2 values, but I missed it before the deadline!
