Very cool concept and gameplay! As a small feedback, I had to be patient and learn how to play; as some people already commented maybe a played tutorial with some tooltips or with an example client would be maybe enough.
Aside from that, I went through it and holy moly, I wasn’t expecting that kind of spooky. It’s a nightmare! I really liked the complex gameplay and how it reflects the situation on [small spoiler] not being able to do some of the orders. I liked it a lot, congrats for the work! :D
At first, making coffee was really confusing, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes pretty fun. I really liked the complexity. Nice work!
Also, when you miss the rectangles where you should put the items and they just fall and disappear is so frustrating.
I really liked the story and the twist at the end. In a way it's the "scariest" game I've scored so far!
Thank you so much, appreciate you playing all the way through! :D
I love the interstitial story between the coffee shop sim days, and the sim mechanics are solidly designed. I did run into a number of bugs, though:
- Starting on Day 3, I ran didn't have any cups, so I couldn't serve any drinks.
- I had a lot of customers say I didn't give them what they ordered, but I didn't have a great indication of what I had messed up in the recipe.
- The menu page's exit button isn't always responsive
- The explanation of the coffee mechanics is overlong, I would recommend having some in-context tooltips instead, so that you can jump right into the gameplay
This is a great start, and I feel that this can be really great with some more polish. Great work!
Thanks for the feedback! In regards to running out of cups you should have been able to buy more from the shop, as you say some more user friendly way of learning the mechanics would probably have helped with that.
Thanks for playing :)
I felt that the explaining of how to make a coffee was too lenghthy. I would've been better to have a small tutorial of how to make a coffee or a something segmented of how to mage a coffee. So I was left really confused on how to play the game. But I got it there in the end!
Thanks for the feedback! We did consider a tutorial but ran out of time as it wasn't considered a priority - have now learned that it should have been 😅
Thanks for playing!
