The first rule of any tower defense game: You can never have too many towers! 
So it started super easy like Sunday Morning and the it all went down hill pass wave 9 which is when I started to realize that the "broken" mechanic here is that the bullets don't always hit their target. I think it fantastic you got to this do this jam with your son. I hope to do them same in the future when my son is old enough.
This was a nice game! I made it to level 20 and had a lot of fun doing so!

Very well done! The UX was great. I always looked forward to placing my next tower, and I had some moments where I was really nervous because I didn't think I would make it. Fun!
Fun TD game. Would have been nice to have an indicator for the tower range, and it seems as though the bullets are on the same collision level, so they might cancel each other out, so having a lot of towers actually seemed to hurt in the long run.
Fun game! Got to level 26. Different enemies or towers would be a great way to expand on the idea.
