I'm a balatro addict, so seeing its inspiration in this game was nice to see hehe. The graphics are fitting, and the UI is sleek. Although I did stumble into a few bugs, like not being able to go fullscreen (which might just be my stupidity), but overall, good job :)
Yeah, there are a few bugs, but I’m not allowed to fix them during the voting period. Also, you can press F11 to toggle fullscreen!
The game was okay, even though it's absolutely not my genre. But objectively speaking, setting aside my personal preferences, I can say that it's a very well-made game. Unfortunately, I had no sound at all—was that a bug, or was there simply not enough time to implement it?
I didn't have time to add music and sound. Since this is my first game, a lot of time went into the grid system and the card deck functionality. I had to implement every card effect on the last day, so it's a bit rough and still has quite a few bugs.
This is awesome! Loved having dinosaurs around during the industrial era. One issue was that there was no sound, but overall great game! You asked for feedback on the artwork in the form, which I think is one of the best aspects of the game. The card designs are all very faithful to balatro and are uniquely different in their own way. The dinosaurs and fishers really did it for me, but the altar's animation was really cool. The entire UI presentation was sleek and clean, which looks and feels like it had a lot of polish put into it.
A very unique take on the theme, I enjoyed it but was unsure as to what the goal was. Also had no sound. Very solid game.
