Good Job with the game! The level design was very well done, and I enjoyed the fact that you could below you, really helped the gameplay.

Nice job for your first game jam! I think the mix of holes and enemies was well balanced, and having a forward as well as a down attack was good forward thinking!

Adding some SFX to things like jumping, landing, and attacking will add a lot to the experience. You could also experiment with making jump height dependent on how long you hold down the jump button!

Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback. I'm considering making a full version of the game with my own sprites, more levels, etc. and will definitely take your feedback into consideration

Congrats on your first game jam! The fact that you finished and submitted a game is impressive in itself.

Pros:

- The interface works well

- There aren't any game breaking bugs

In terms of improvements, I think a small few changes would go a long way. Adding a SFX will GREATLY improve the feel of your game. I found that I thought I would have to jump up on the crates or avoid obstacles on the ceiling, but they were passthrough. You could utilise that. The enemy hitbox should be a little bigger too, it was a bit infuriating.

Overall, I like the idea and it is very well done for your first game.

Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback. I definitely agree with the enemy hitboxes. I was considering making multiple difficulties that would adjust the hitbox size, but didn't really have time for that and by the time I made the decision, I just had to go with what I had. SFX is definitley something I will add if I make a full version
