Neat game! I included it in my compilation video series for the Clicker Jam Spring, if you’d like to check it out. :)

the idea of this is great. it feels like the introduction to a much bigger game with ever growing mechanics. I pretty much agree with derpy on all accounts though. If you were to scale things back some at the start and work your way up after awhile and introduce some new mechanics and/or enemy spawns then this could really be something.

actually, after looking at the screenshots i'm gonna keep going cause it looks like thats the case.

so i think really if you just increased the coin drops to something like x10-30 then you'd be good. the progression seems fine, its just nearly impossible to reach stuff with the current rates. even the hitbox sizes could be overlooked due to having the spike traps, if they could be purchased and upgraded in a reasonable amount of time.

Honestly the hitboxes for the enemies are way too small, and the amount of health the enemy has is way too much at the beginning of the game.

The upgrades are also way too expensive, and the what the wizard does is not clear (no pun intended).

At the start of the game is when the player is introduced to the game, so the difficulty should be relatively easier so that players can explore the mechanics of the game, so variables that affect difficulty such as speed of enemy, hp of enemy, hitbox size, upgrade cost, should all be taken into account.

Playtesting the game multiple times is one way to find out if the difficulty scale is too easy or difficult. Also one thing to take into account when playtesting is that usually if you find the game difficulty just right, new players are going to find the game too difficult.
