I stopped at 7 because my antivirus popped up and I died… Fricking Bitdefender lol

I love it. Genuinely love the story and art (I figured AI art?). Was the story crafted wholly or in part with LLMs as well?

The game is simple and really fun, with a challenge as the levels grow.

Gives me this vibe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8m9zIWiGwA. Great game man

And allow us to use A/D keys as well please! That’s my default for gaming and I thought I did something wrong the first time haha

Thanks man. Triangle Strategy was a big inspiration for this one. I will say that the mobile version should be easier to finish. Will add A/D as well.

the difficulty spike at level 5 got  me could not get past it  , the enemy speed was too fast and the yellow area was too small in my opinion but it is a great story. How many levels are there ?

Developer

Hey thanks for playing. You're almost at the end, there are just a few levels after that. I intentionally made it hard coming down to the end because of how short the story is. However, the difficulty goes down when you fail too many times to compensate.

This is very well-written and shows promise for the writer to grow, he minigame sec tion - the zone didn't always stay orange, why? But it was good - but i was getting tired toward the end just cause i didn't know what the grey zone meant as opposed to the orange. It's very beautiful, the prose is rich but the action and momentum is lacking. That said, for a jam game it's quite rich and impressive!

Developer

Hi, thanks for playing. An orange zone turns gray when no enemies are in the zone and you press either the left or right arrow keys. It prevents you from being able to button mash your way to victory.

Okay, i thought it was something like that - very good! This is a very full game - problem is it isn't minimalistic which actually ISN'T a problem. I would recommend adding some more action to the story, mor complexity between the relationships, i think it ends really well, so i wouldn't change that too much, but I think it's very well done! You should win except it's not minimal lol :D
