A visual masterpiece. The cut-scenes, sprites and scenery are all really, really well done. The atmosphere is also well established, with the help of the eerie soundtrack and cut scenes in the beginning as well.
After reading the description for controls, I managed to properly control the suit on my second try, the movement feels a bit too slow and sluggish, rotation is also way too slow for me to shine light on the sea monster, but I managed to get on the third level, but I got drowned by the creature thrice.
Overall good concept, great artwork, gameplay needs a bit of work, especially the pacing. Well done!
Animations and artwork are great! Atmosphere is captivating.
Agree with some of the other posters that the controls feel awkward. A large part of that was the first level, where I was confused by the fact that I couldn't use sonar. I guess that, since it's not needed in that level, it's not available. Still, that made me wonder if there was something wrong with the game or with my keyboard.
In 2nd and 3rd levels, the different ways of seeing were interesting, and added a lot of tension to the exploration experience.
Cool concept :)
Visually stunning. I've played about 25 games now, and this one has the best presentation. The opening cinematic to the graphics, to the music, it all fits together so well. My two suggestions would be to change the sound effect of the ship movement and to make the controls a little more responsive. On the first note, when I was floating around listening to the peaceful music, the experience was nice except whenever I moved, I heard this pounding noise that eventually made my head hurt. Moving the ship also got a bit frustrating after a while because of how slow it moved. That aside, the environment you created felt really good. My compliments.
Incredible artwork. Love how you used the B&W limitation to enhance the cutscene artwork & also how striking the visuals are in the lower levels when the topography is pinged. Loved the pace really fit well with the overall feel. just so impressed. I haven't got past 3rd section yet. Any hints to help navigate the way. Don't want to miss out on any of your game.
The game is fantastic. The controls feel a bit slugish. Outside of that the art is wonderful and so is the sound. The fact that as you descend it gets darker and you get less light but the music also changes is wonderful. Got a feeling of being enclosed by darkness and all alone with all the weird creatures floating around.
Wow! That looks AMAZING!!! You've done amazing work, but unfortunatly I can't play it, because I only have 32bit. But for 2 Weeks that's pretty impressive!
