i feel like all the other replies played a different game because i have literally no idea what happened while i was playing and since the godot project was included i looked in it and then forgot why i wanted to look in it so i closed it but it definitely is an experience for sure

Elemental Execution is a playfully whimsy pixel style bullet hell with nice animations, fun attack mechanics, player power-ups with consequences, and an established gameplay loop.

I wasn't too sure on my rock throwing abilities, but I managed to get boss HP down to zero with my player HP at 12% remaining.

Great work and congrats on your submission!

I thought the spikes moved felt really fun to do. The loop that I found was to dodge the cloud cat's bullets so I could find an oppurtunity to place the spikes and get back while they activated. I think that your implimentation of multiple different kinds of attacks make it engaging to choose how to dodge bullets to position yourself for different attacks.

The controls are quite smooth but not so sure about the shift key. Am I supposed to press hold? I see the vision you're heading for, though some improvements can be made. I read the notes you made more than one-time since the boss doesn't get killed or anything, it's understandable due to time restraints. Good luck on your dev journey!
