Wow, really a nice game, I just struggle with it. If I had time I would have definitely try to complete it, I really liked the game mechanics!
The Hunt Beyond Realms is an interesting story-driven bullet hell with narrative choices and fun mechanics similar to that of a roguelike. The ability to change weapon loadout was fun, and the controls/movement felt solid. It had lovely sprite animations and fun characters, with enemies paired with good variation in bullet patterns. The sound design was lovely as well!
I was having issues with the Shop not allowing me to purchase any upgrades. I progressed into the second stage without them, but kept dying a bunch haha.
I enjoyed the concept overall! Great job to the both of you on your submission!
I really liked the vision of this game, invested in the story for sure. But was quite challenging, a lot of fun once I figured it out
