The idea is very good! I think this Outrunners effect is very cool! I think it deserves more polishing to become a very interesting game! Congratulations on the submission!

This game is really interesting! The concept of requiring speed in order to boost forward to shoot, with enemy bullets and objects affecting both health and speed is very creative. The execution isn't the best though. Sometimes when the road turns, you have to choose to turn or accelerate, which is very frustrating. There's not much of a warning of when obstacles and enemies appear either. If you don't develop speed early, you will die. The visuals of the player shots when the road turns don't turn with the road, which also feels unnatural. Other than that though, the visuals are very nice. Cool game, great work!

Very creative with the visuals and the speed mechanic. The perspective of the projectiles and obstacles is a little rough to get used to, but other than that, great job!

Great music and style! The controls were a bit confusing - well not the controls per se, but when there were curves on the road I think my movement was dampened a bit more than I expected. But this game has an incredible mood, and at some point I was just relaxing and grooving to the songs. I love the colors.

Well done!

mechanics and very engaging music, I think they could have done more in the visuals. however, good work

Nice visual style - the enemies and pickups could use a little more detail but the colours are vibrant and readable. Gameplay a little too floaty to be really engaging, but the core idea is cool and creative. Reminds me of Roadblasters from way back in the day. Well done!

I really liked the environment and the music. The gameplay is fun. I like the mechanic of the bullets that move with the character. Congratulations!

I think it's a good idea with nice visuals and great audio, but there are some bugs that make the game be worse than it could have been:

- First, I tried playing it on a Windows 10 laptop with decent hardware and all the things that were supposed to be on the road, except for the player,  were floating far above it to the point where they could barely be seen, resulting on you just driving alone on the road. It didn't matter if it ran on intel integrated graphics or nvidia dedicated gpu.

- Next, I tried to play it on an Arch Linux pc with also pretty good hardware and on the same laptop from before but using Arch Linux instead, and what happened is everything was stretched  out orizontally and only like a third of the speed indicator was visible, making it useless. The stretching seemed similar to when you set the wrong aspect ratio, although the monitor was a 1920 x 1080 one.

- Finally, there is also a problem which I think happens in both versions and it's that when turning left the speed goes normally, but when turning right the speed disappears, and with this I mean it decreases too fast, making it too difficult to get the guns ready (in fact, I didn't manage to).

As the other comment said, the bullet hell part was also confusing. I think with some polishing this game would be really good!

Oops my bad, I  enabled the wrong version for windows, and yes linux and mac one has wrong aspect ratio.
Thanks for the heads up, I've enabled the correct build for windows now.

The turns are follow same logic for both, it's the curvature that's different, but I think it's the wasd controls that's kinda messy, on arrows I was able to maintain speed.

Yeah the gameplay is wild and unbalanced, didn't spend time on it.

Good visuals and audio but the gameplay is a bit confusing, you need to dodge some things on the road (that are in pseudo 3D) but you also have to dodge bullets in 2D and without perspective.
