This game is immaculate :O the pacing is chaotic but very controlled and the music is full of familiar progressions that suddenly lead to another section so it doesn't get repetitive. Great job!

Very polished, everything is done to a high level, visuals audio and fun too. I would say its leaning a bit more on the generic side though.

I loved how simple and to the point the game was!

the bullet pattern was nice and was enjoyable to be seen, the only thing that needs to be improved is the graphics, but the gameplay was very smooth and enjoyable...

Thanks for the fun!

Really cool ideas and clean bullet patterns! Its hilarious that you can destroy the title image by shooting at it :). Just one thing is the  bullet slightly look like stars so at first I thought they were powerups and I flew right into them on purpose :{  It's a fun game and has all the core bullet hell ideals I believe in when rating a bullet hell! PS. My game is this one: Rate Guns 'n Droids by Shades of Dark for Bullet Hell Jam 2022 - itch.io

Very polished and seemingly very well balanced in terms of challenge.

This is quite an impressive entry, the ship designs are really nice, and the bullet patterns while complex really seamed understandable to navigate, not to mention the frequently changing colors of the bullets even for enemies who shoot the same patterns offers some nice visual variety.

One detail i really apreciated was the seamless gameplay where the menus are just items to shoot with the ship to select an option, this made for a nice pause in between levels without interupting player control.

Lastly the music is amazing ! I really liked the level tunes, they fit perfectly with the action going on and really add a lot to the experience.

Now level 3 was quite a difficulty spike but i managed to pull through and complete all levels and i had a great time.

Congrats you did a great job especially doing all this solo :)

Thanks! I really didn't want to program a menu system so that's how that came about, but I think it worked out. The music for the 3rd level was actually the first thing I did so glad you enjoyed it (and were able to beat it)!

I did it, I shot the things. menu-ing was great, I REALLY liked that I could use controller and that the controls were very straight forward (move, shoot)

Glad to hear the controller worked! I could only get my PS4 controller to work on desktop. Thanks!

Easy, but challenging. Simple, but catchy. Ordinary, but extremely functional.

Well done my friend! A solid bullet hell!

Thanks! I had grander plans at first but went for polish instead. I'll be sure to check out yours (and others) when I get the chance.

Has a liddle bit of a steep learning curve(a bit to hard) but it´s very fun

ps: i love the transition from menu to game

Developer

I've never designed one of these before so I wasn't too sure how to handle difficulty, but glad you enjoyed it!
