Thanks for the feedback and kind words everyone. It was a real rush to finish it, especially after most of the team dropped. I'm pretty happy with it as a proof of concept, though I wish I knew what I was doing when it comes to UI, in Unity or just in general.

Nice game! The UI was a little scrunched when playing non-fullscreen. Deciding on a resolution for the game in browser, setting it in Unity's game tab and setting the resolution on the Canvas Scaler component can help you make sure everything is anchored and scaled correctly. I really enjoyed the writing. Nice job :)

Neat little game! Although, I have a hard time figuring out what the goal is or what's happening to the game. Has a lot of potential!

I feel like there's a lot of potential with this game, and I especially like how the dialogue is written and the minimalist take on design. The only con I have is that it's not really clear what's happening in the game or what the player is supposed to do? I'd just click next turn and answer the questions and see the stats go up, not knowing what they meant.

Dang my village has been lost to time.

Interesting concept, but I wish I had more information on the goal of the game. What is the purpose of buying buildings? I also think the UI could be adjusted to make the story clearer. I felt like I was given the opportunity to make choices before the story even progressed to that moment through the previous/next buttons. Maybe remove/change the state of the buttons that do not lead to proper game progression.

That's a great take on the jam theme! Always happy to see text adventures. The visuals match the mood.
