How does you game fit the theme?
My game takes the idea "It is not real" and applies to the environment around the player. You start off in a seemingly normal cave, but overtime you discover not everything within the cave is real.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code from scratch, apart from following a brackeys tutorial on how to set up an audio manager. Besides that, the game is completely from scratch. The assets used were all by me and my sister. I also used 2 fonts from Google Fonts. Other than that, no assets created by other people were used.

i love it!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you very much! I’m glad you liked it!
Hey!
First of all, congrats for finishing the game! I was really fun and good looking game. I have some feedback for you and I hope you can use it to improve the game.
First of all, the audio part is missing, so the game feels very "dead". Some audio feedback would be great, when the player jumps, dies, collects a coin, etc. The other thing that bother me was the level design. The first time I opened the game I said "Wow, this looks so simple but cool". But there are some design mistakes, for example I thought that those spikes were part of the background, there was no visual information that I would be killed by those. You can make them red or something, it will be much better. The last thing I want to point out was that the levels are very unclear and there is no way for the player to know what is real and what not. For example, take the first 3 buttons from the beginning. Why the last one? It looked like the first and the second, only the color was different. Same with the fake platform.
So, in few words, I think it would be great if you can improve the visual language of your game, to tell the player what he can touch and what not.
Other than that, I think you made an awesome job! It was fun and with some updates I'm sure this game will be amazing! Congrats!
I would love to have you playing mine too, if you don't mind of course! ^_^
Hello! Thank you very much for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I also very much appreciate the feedback.
I agree, the game does lack sound. I unfortunately had ran out of time before I had the chance to add proper sound. At least I was able to get in a few sound effects in. However, I sounds like you couldn't hear them. I had things like player death, coin collect, jump, door opening, etc.
I apologize for the game being difficult when it came to figuring out what was real and what was fake. I wanted this game to be trial and error. As in: The only way to know what is real is to just go for it, and learn from past mistakes. Similar to a game on iOS called "Trap Adventure 2".
Thank you for your feedback. I hope I can use this to improve on my game making skills to produce higher quality games in the future. And of course, I will check out your game
Oh, I understand now. Well, if it was a game design decision, to make a trial and error game, that's great. But it really feels unfair to the player sometimes.
Okay, in a future update (If I have time to make one) I will try to fix that. Thank you for letting me know :)
I like the game, nice atmosphere, but I miss the music a bit. I would recommend if you use trail and error design that you don't you lives. I is pretty frustrating :/
Thank you for the feedback!
I'm sorry it was frustrating. I meant to make it hard and rage-inducing, but I apologize if I went too far. I also wish that I could've added music, but I ran out of time. I was up late programming and the deadline was closing in and I still had errors to fix. So, I am sorry about the lack of music and the difficulty. Hopefully I can tune those things in an update!
I love this type of simple game where you reach the fun part quickly. Thank you for the nice time!
You’re welcome! And thank you for leaving your comment here!
No problem! If you haven't checked out I'd be happy to see your perspective.
really nice game , i liked everything in it the art , animations and environment keep it up .Also btw can you rate my game: https://goreeeo.itch.io/awake
Thank you! I’m glad you liked.
I’ve seen your comments here and there, so thank you for taking time to actually play others games and give thoughtful feedback on how they can really improve. I’ve also noticed that in every comment you’ve posted, you make the same spelling error by putting the period to close the the “And” and spaces before the commas. Weird…
Anyways, sure. I’ll rate your game. Thanks for rating mine. :)

And of course, once I get the time, I’ll play your game.

Already have! And it's Great! I left my review in the comments. Good luck finding it though. So many people are rating your game. Good for you!
Oh, sorry, I might have missed it or something, Thanks!
Dude... I swear every game I go to you've rated. No wonder you have so many ratings. I'm impressed you've had the time to play each game and give thoughtful feedback on what you truly think about their game and how they can improve. Thanks for helping others get better at game jamin' by providing your feedback. It means a lot to everyone who receives it.
Thannks!, I've been a newbie before, and I just like the feeling havinf a notifications in my feed and got a bit of knowledge from others, so I tried to be those for others too, olso, I'm a student who has online classes, so time isn't my issue XD
Neat rage game. Needs some music but other than that it looks very polished.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it!
Yeah unfortunately I ran out of time to do audio so I had to whip up some super simple sound effects. Because they were rushed, they didn't fit the theme. And there is not music because it was either sound effects or music, and I thought sound effects were the better option. If I have time, I might go back and update the game after the jam with new sounds effects and music.
I can't play, I am on a mac. : (
I'm sorry. Ill try to make the game accessible to more people soon. I've never published a game before so I don't know if building the game needs some work to make it accessible to mac. I'll look into it and try to release an update in the near future if I have time.
Cool. I did the same thing my first time. :)
The game art is really superb !! I like the concept of it and really enjoyable!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it! The art was super simple to make, but I’m happy that it still fit nicely.
wonderful ! DO check out mine game also ! I hope you'll find it out pretty amazing :)
Sure thing!
I like the art style. I got frustrated when dying when touching the side of blocks with spikes on top of it. I wouldn't expect that to happen. Not sure if I like the type of game where I just need to die and figure out the level over and over though, but I'm sure someone out there loves punishment :)
In my personal opinion, there has to be a driving force from a story or gameplay perspective that will make me want to get deceived and die over and over.
Okay, thank you for letting me know. I'll take that into account when either updating the game or making a new one. Sorry about the frustration. I tried to make it a rage-platformer, but maybe I made it too hard.
Thank you for the feedback!
Don't be sorry! I think the game has a lot of potential. I'm want to come back to it today and play more to see if I can finish it.
It has some UI bugs but it's a nice game, keep it up
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
And thanks for letting me know of the UI bugs. I haven't heard that yet, so good to know of this new bug.
I loved everything only things I would change is maybe background music and to lower the jumping sound a little
Yup, I totally agree. I don't like the sound I used. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to add music, and sound effects that fit the style of the game. Thank you for playing!
The graphics are really cool.
Thank you! Simple, but I think they fit. I'm glad you like it!
Classic rage plattformer you made there. Controls work fine. The visuals are simple but its pleasing to look at. Audio is functional.
I really dig the idea with the coins. For a rage game it can be pretty frustrating to always start from the beginning and doing all the levels again and again. With collecting coins and keeping the lifes you managed to make it rewarding to keep going.
I only made it to level 7 and couldnt fruther explore, cause I am bad at plattformers.
Overall I really enjoyed my time. You produced a good and polished game! Great job!
Thank you very much! This was my first game ever so it's really nice to hear that it's not awful. I'm glad that you enjoyed it :)
You almost made it to the end. I didn't have time for lots of levels, So I decided to make only 10, but make them hard.
