I love the concept of a farm sim in hell. Good work.

Very cool game! Were the models all made by your team? They were really cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much!
Yes everything was made in the past 7 days! :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Everything was made by our team during the time allotted.

I personally did the art for environment, fence, boxes, seeds, tools, pumpkin, jack-o-lantern + animations, fly + animations, and many of the 2D art/icons. This was a new aesthetic style for me, and I feel that this challenge has helped me grow as an artist.

We had a bit of a skeleton crew this jam, so it was a busy week for all of us, but I'm very proud of what we accomplished as a team.

Yeah you should all be proud!

Bro, your graphic is sick!

also please check out and rate my game if you interested!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! We put a lot of care and effort into the look of the game.

Submitted(+1)

Loved the graphics. Would love any insight modeling like that.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much!

We decided on a "cartoony" look early on, so we focused on having only a few distinct colors, and round-looking, smooth-shaded models. Even "jagged" objects, like the rocks, are smooth shaded. I used beveled edges to give them a "jagged" look while keeping the smooth shading. The materials have high roughness so that the colors remain relatively unchanged by lighting.

I don't know if it is only me, but my game freezes after using the rake tool 4 times. It happened 3 times in a row. Besides the bugs, the game is very unique and cool. Keep the good work!

Developer(+1)

Hello!

Yes unfortunately that's a known bug that we didn't have time to fix correctly, it happens when you click a little too fast.. specifically with the rake.

Thanks so much for playing!

Cool idea! Love the bright fire, Lava and game play area in general.  Looks very nice. I would have liked some  more sound effects though. I didn't know when I was being hurt. Nice music too :) Good job!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing!
Yeah unfortunately that's just a circumstance of the deadline, there we're some damage effects but they most have gotten lost somewhere along the line.. thanks for the review!
