Great game! Pretty good graphics and I really like the concept :) There was a bug where the boss reached the player but didn't affect my HP, and the shooting sound was a bit too quiet compared to the menu music. Other than that it's a very good game!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player starts fighting enemies and a Boss alone, however when he defeats the boss, the boss joins him and helps him in the upcoming levels. At the end all bosses and the player group up to fight the last boss.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made the assets and music my self. I also wrote the code with help from tutorials.
