In what way does your game fit the theme?
The theme stated was Rewind and we interpreted it as rewinding of old memories as well as records. The game plays a heavy focus on these elements and it is the major part of the story.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. Practically almost all of the work has been done from the scratch...

Really enjoyed playing this. Though I'm sad that I wasn't fast enough to rate it in time.

Developer

No problem, man... Hearing that you liked the game is good enough for us!

Awesome work with the inventory and items!

Developer

Thank you! We are glad to know that!

It's kind of sad to see those robots broken after seeing the happy memories stored in them. Nice atmosphere you got there.

Player can't jump on inclined surfaces and sometimes just glides without walking animation while walking, but as far as this is not a platformer, that's no problem. Nice to see an adventure game.

Thanks for your feedback! I am happy to know that you enjoyed the atmosphere and that we were able to do justice to it through our work!

There is still some polishing and bug-fixing left on our game and we hope to do it as soon as we can.

Btw, I am intrigued by your game as well and hope to play it as soon as I can!

Nice concept! I like how this game is much different from the other entries! It's definitely a nice change of pace. I enjoyed playing and reading the intractable things, but I was a little lost on the story (not necessarily a bad thing). Although, the graphics were really nice and the game felt complete!

One suggestion is that the music felt a bit lackluster. Maybe make it a bit longer and use some different instruments/rhythms.

Overall, great job!

My game's a platformer about a little ball inside a factory trying to learn something! You can check it out if you want!

Thank you for your feedback! We are happy that you liked the game!

And I understand your feedback on the music and we will definitely look into it for the same...

Also, sure, I will check out your game as soon as I can. It seems pretty intriguing!

You really did a lot for such a short time. I really like the art style and the story premise of this game.  I purposely am a huge fan of story based games/interactive fiction so it was nice to see. I'll admit I was a little confused at times, but a little bit of polishing could make it clearer for the players.

A couple of small things I noticed is that the text moves pretty slowly (especially for the tutorial where  I was especially impatient), and speeding it up would be nice. Another thing is that I found a bug where if you click an object before the text is completely from another you not only miss the text of the second object but are no longer are able to click the object at all.  I had to completely restart the game a couple of times to progress. Also the background song is nice but gets repetitive quickly (not that I can blame you, I also tried to compose music for my game and it was really hard. I ended up scrapping it and getting stuff online).

Also just want to mention A+ on the title. I wanted to play your game as soon as I read regardless of gameplay.

Developer

Thank you for those kind words! We are happy that you found the game to your liking!

Also, I understand and appreciate your feedback on the same for the game. We will look into polishing the slight snags and smooth the game as soon as we can.

Btw, I am fascinated by your game as well and hope to play it as soon as I can!

I like the atmosphere and the story. But the game is a little bit confusing as to what the player is trying to do though.

Do you like games that make you rage? try my game it will be worth your time.

Thanks!

What you do in the game actually plays into the plot's suspense. Without revealing too much, I could perhaps state that the answer lies in the title of the game and the game's description on its page. I hope that helps you figure it out!

I would be glad to check your game out! Its seems very interesting!

I was really curious about this game, the style and writing were great. I got stuck almost immediately though - not sure if I was missing something or just didn't know the controls :(

Very interesting music too - sounded almost procedural, which fit the world well!

Thanks! We are glad, you liked it! Anyway, which part are you stuck at? I would be happy to help you out...

Btw, I checked your game out too. Great work. I really loved the sound design and the concept seems pretty interesting! Especially love the dog!

I dropped down to the lower floor and found the broken robot and the the record (I think it's record!) with a picture of the robot not broken - I can zoom into the record from my inventory but can't find anything else to interact with and couldn't figure out a way to "use" the record on anything. I assume there's a connection with the record and the robot and I'm just missing the right key to press :D

Developer(+1)

Hello, I'm the other developer. You can use the record on the robot that matches the picture by left clicking on the robot with the record highlighted (if you can zoom in on it, then it's highlighted, so no worries there). You need to get past the initial text that shows up when you click on the robot first before you can use the record. I hope this helps =)

Thanks! I'll give it a try - I think I was standing in just the right position that the image of the record was covering up the robot :D

Developer(+1)

Oh, that could be the case. If that happens again, you can exit the zoomed view with the 'X' button to the top right of the image =)

Worked perfectly so I was able to finish the story - really nice! Thanks for the help :)
