In what way does your game fit the theme?
You are running a video rental store from the 80s and you have to take money and rewind the return tapes to out on the shelf

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All assets, from 3D models, textures, 2D art and music and sound effects were made completely made from scratch from my team mates and I wrote all code. I recruited my friends from my old game dev class and they help me produce one of the best games I ever made

Really enjoyed the audio. The aesthetics were well done as well. Should have more rates to be honest!

Could you please play and rate my game as well?

I really enjoyed being able to use either of my hands to do everything and I also really liked the art style & music. One thing to note is, that you sometimes put the already rewinded tapes in the vcr although you clicked the table with the finished ones or you put the money on the ground or in the air instead of in the cashbox. But overall really good submission and fits the theme very well! Keep it up!

I like the kind of "grungy" graphics aesthetic, it has a kind of a melancholic feel to it. The computer is pretty cool, and I like that you can buy upgrades to the store :)

The VCR was bugging out a little bit for me, sometimes when I tried to take the cassette out and put it on the ready pile, it would just snap back into the VCR. Otherwise the worked pretty well!

Hey, Looks like we did a very similar concept with 2 drastically different styles haha!

I love the artwork and detail put into this. Very high quality! The needs rewind and ready UI pop ups were annoying at times, but were definitely a good idea!
I did run into a bug where I could insert a VHS into the VCR while the ejected one hadn't been taken yet, resulting in that first one being stuck and lost/unclickable.

The dual hold was a great idea for multi tasking, I feel like that's something we should've added!

You should check out our game as well to see just how different the similar ideas were done. Great game!
