In what way does your game fit the theme?
When the player gets hit, time will rewind 2 seconds. Also the easter egg at the very end of the game is all about rewinding time

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We made 100% of the assets and code, besides the code used from Brackeys videos (obvs).

It wasn't just a game, it was an entire experience. Masterpiece.

Nice music! Great game! good job man :)

I can't take all the credit, it was my girlfriend (strailks) and I who made it. She's the one who wrote the music herself, and wrote about half the code. Glad you enjoyed the game!

Good music! Very interesting mechanic tho. I really liked your game.

Mac build hasn't worked for me, but windows build was fine.
Nice music, nice fit into the theme and apart from the minor bugs where you rewind just to die you did a really good job!

Thanks for the info, I don't own a Mac, but I use Unity's Mac build, so I can't test it, but I try to upload it. I think I know what I did wrong and will fix it for next time. We're glad you enjoyed the game, and the idea for the rewind is that it moves you back 2 seconds no matter what, so we wanted it to sometimes be just a time waster, and end up dropping you without a block to stand on.

Nice game! I loved the intro story, but I ended up rewinding on to places which would cause me to instantly die.

Yeah, we know about that. We wanted the game to be difficult, so that would be part of the challenge. When testing I got annoyed that I would keep getting hit (I'm not great at the game, and we had some levels that were way harder at stages during testing) so a trick I realized is to not try to blitz through it, and wait for a few seconds on a safe block, then keep going. That way you would have something safe to fall back on.  The story was a fun part of creating the game for us, and we got to include a lot of humor in it.

I liked your music and intro/story. :)

I ran into a couple of bugs with rewinding putting me in locations which immediately caused me to fall to my death again or the rewind clock not disappearing. I kept trying to jump with spacebar and falling to my doom.

I thought it was really neat that you put a tutorial right on the main menu. Definitely a great way to handle it for a jam.

Developer

I'm not sure how you got the rewind clock to not disappear, that one is a new one. For the falling to your doom, the idea was to always go back in time 2 seconds, so it wasn't always safe. It encourages the player to take their time, which makes the level itself more difficult because of the disappearing blocks.
