Great visuals! And I loved the ambiance track too, it fits well. I loved the idea of monsters smelling the biscuits and being attracted to them! Didn't manage to reach the ending, but I had a lot of fun playing. I feel like it's well polished! Great job

Great visuals and sound! I found the combat a bit difficult, but overall it's a great game!

Developer

thanks :)

The visuals are stunning and the gameplay is great. Sadly i always ended up with too many buiscuits, i tried multiple times not to take them to avoid crossing too many enemies, but i didn't manage to do it.

Amazing game, good job !

Interesting and innovative concept! We made a dungeon crawler as well, check it out!

Developer

Thank you ! I'll be sure to check it out!

Loved the visuals! I was a bit confuse with movement, maybe arrows to click to where to go would be nice, is there an ending or something? Thanks for the experience!

Developer

thank You for the feedback! Arrow are a good idea, the map helps a bit too. and Yes there is a simple little ending :)

Some walking animations would make this ALLOOT better, but thanks to the map I knew where I was going! Very unique visuals! I hate that wizard though ;-;

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing! I am really bad at animating, so I kind of winged it lol (I hate the wizards too)

I love this art style! But I didn't immediately realize that I could look at the map. I wandered around, not knowing where I was going.

Developer

thanks for playing! I should have made a tutorial lol

Very cool visuals and gameplay experience, I realized that you can change weapons and look at the map after you took damage from enemies and was puzzled how 1 damage is inflicted if you picked up a weapon.
Great job

Developer(+1)

thanks for the feedback! yeah I should have made the equip aspect mere obvious

Beautifully constructed game. The assets in this game are really beautiful. You have a serious talent for pixel art.

Overall the game reminds me of the UFO 50 entry Valbrace.

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words! I am way better at pixel art then coding unfortunately lol

Love the concept! And you executed it really well. Maybe a “flee” option would have been nice to have (I encountered like 3 enemies and the completely roasted me hahah). But great job overall!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I wanted to add a flee mechanic but I think not having one works better with the theme of risk.

Loved the vibe of the game!

Really cool looking game, The sprites looks awesome. The rules of the game could better explained. The way you move feels a bit disorienting sometimes. Maybe replacing WASD keys and just use the mouse for everything like a point and click game could be better. Really cool biscuit difficulty system though! :D Also my game bugged the first time i played it where the monster door sprite kept appearing and it was so confusing lmao.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Sorry about the bugs I didn't get a lot of time to do bug fixing lmao

Really cool game,it looks very nice, the sprites are really appealing. The "dodge" and the "equipping of items" could be better explained, I was stuck dealing 1 damage in the beginning thinking the sword has auto-equiped. I do like the balancing act between biscuits and health making the game adjust the difficulty accordingly, really good self adjusting system.

Developer

Thank for  the feedback! i didn't end up having the time to add I tutorial I was gonna have a final boss too I'll try explaining controls better in the description

Nice little game with great ambiance! I think it lack a little juiciness in the fight, because it can feel redundant. Great work !

Developer

Thanks for playing! I can see your point not too sure how to fix it

I really love the GameBoy-esque style, the game looks and sounds amazing

Developer

Thanks!

I think it would be nice if the empty corridors had some variation to them, i was walking through one for a bit and thought it was glitching because it just went black and i saw the same screen again, until i realised it was to give the illusion of length.
I really love the limited colour palette, it works so well and makes the game just bleed into the itch.io page!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! i had some random things like skulls, vines, candles, etc but I ended up not having the time to implement them properly. I didn't add a full screen option because I fell it bleeding into the page gave a more retro look.

The game looks beautiful, but the controls and responsiveness feel a bit odd.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I added a lot of forced waiting before clicking so that you can't accidentally breeze through the whole game but it looks like it backfired a bit lol
