How does the game fit the theme?
If you do what the game tells you nothing can go wrong, so I guess haha.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made almost everything from scratch except sounds and music.

This was awesome haha. Really like the aesthetic (reminds me of Terraria or maybe the Escapists?). Movement is solid, maybe a tad glidey, but definitely not difficult to use overall. The level is super interesting, and actually fairly challenging at times. Loved the ending of course. Only complaints really (besides the movement thing) is there isn't really any audio besides the music. Would love to have seen footsteps, jump, lever noises, etc. Perhaps also a countdown timer at that one part (won't spoil it) would be nice.
little tough on the platforming room but other than that this was really funny and cool
Pretty cool, although I was really confused about what to do at some times... Good work overall.
I felt like platforming in the spike room had some pretty tight requirements with the acceleration of the character, but overall everything felt really good. The ending was about what I anticipated but it kept with your theme of short and sweet. Overall, well done, and congratulations on hitting your 20 rates!
This was such a fun playful game man, I love the pixel art here. Great game man <3
Short but sweet.
*SPOILERS*
Some important details, though: 1) The movement is kind of wonky and slow. Not that big of a deal, but movement polish is always important in platformers since it's the thing you'll be doing the most. You need to play around with acceleration and such, and test it with friends. 2) If the idea is to not follow orders, then the room that said "Go in the door to the right" should've had the middle door as the correct one, since it contradicts any instruction shown. While the left one is still valid, you cannot leave more than one valid option (unless, of course, you make them both correct). 3) More audio cues would have done a lot (i.e. when pulling a lever, or when going through the correct/wrong door). 4) The red button simply killing you was kinda underwhelming.
The lighting on the red button warning was nice, try using more effects! They're cheap, and make a huge difference.
I really enjoyed the satirical spin on “Nothing can go wrong.” The pixel art is charming. Great job on a playful experience!
Great work on making an enjoyable and complete game! I was fooled multiple times by the 'door on the right' 😅
Nice game, Spikes can't hurt the player so nothing can go wrong!😀
Audibly chuckled when I stepped on the spikes and nothing happened; Getting a real laugh out of someone is high praise! Really good use of the theme, and your walk animation is really nice. Good job!
I may have accidentally played it... Got a good laugh out of me in the room on the right, nicely done.
