How does the game fit the theme?
If you get distracted and fail to guard the prisoner, he'll escape! If that goes wrong the world ends

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The 3D models and animations are sourced from Fab and Mixamo, and the skybox/weather is handled by Ultra Dynamic Sky from Fab. Everything else (like UI and music) is custom, along with the code.

So underrated!! That game is hilarious! So fun and unique.
The missions are funny and diverse. Finished the true gamer mode! Loved it!

I like how it looks, it runs well, sounds on point, the movement feels smooth, and picking up and throwing stuff is fun in every game. Going through the tasks while managing the prisoner is fun too, I think how fast the prisoner's bar goes up is well-tuned to how long the shift is.

However, I did end up running out of time my first run due to trouble stacking the crates, which is fine but now that I knew that I needed crates for the shift I just gathered all the crates and threw them downstairs before I started the shift timer.

As expected, this enabled me to complete all the tasks very quickly with most of my shift left. I wanted to see the end so there wasn't much else to do besides wait. I think you should try and have a way to detect if the player is trying to get a headstart on the tasks and start the timer if they are. I like that you can walk around the for and explore before the shift starts but it should be a little harder to cheese when the player actually wants to start doing the objective.

Something like checking if there are crates at the feet of the stairs or how many of the right-sized boxes the player has touched or whatever.

Aside from that, I think it's pretty good and with more content could be something great. I'd also like to thank you for checking out our game and leaving a nice comment!

very thoughtful feedback! A simple solution might be to not grant their grab ability until the shift starts 🤔  thank you for playing!

I like the overall style this has. Humor is decent and the graphics mesh well with each other. The concept itself is pretty fun. I couldn't seem to find any food or wine, but that might be user error.

Food and wine are on the table near the prison fire, but not finding it is perfectly fine in a world full of idiots lol thank you for playing!

So they are, I must be blind then. I've now gone and beaten the game and it is certainly a fun little trip. Good stuff.
