Couldn't really figure out what I'm supposed to be doing, besides putting oil in the beacon. Controls were a bit off, felt like the vert sensitivity was waaaaay lower than the horizontal. The graphics looked really good though, and I love me some Lovecraftian mythos. Hail Dagon!
Beautiful art . Struggled with the controls and could't figure out what to do, or rather how/where to do it, so didn't get past exploring and reading the task.
Interesting take on the theme! I really like the concept and mystery of the game. The gameplay is nice, my only criticism is that it's initially hard to figure out what you're supposed to do. The visuals are great, I especially liked the journal pages with the plants! The main menu art is also really well made and the music really gives the game a mysterious atmosphere! Overall a very unique game, good job!
The visuals are great ! All made by hands impressive ! But the gameplay needs improvment, i still didn't understand in 30 minutes the enigma with the moon and tarot card, you should put a little more hint or make the mechanics easier for a gamejam or even do a step by step enigma, i pass the first night by luck with some deduction. I didn't get the point to manage the light of the lighthouse. Otherwise, you should remind the controls when interacting with the HUD, just to avoid to search on all the keyboard.
I really appreciate you tried to do a puzzle game, it's admirable and I encourage you to continue.
Ok update, we persist a bit more with a mate and we finally finished it, I'm not sure if we understand everything but we did it at least
Hi, thank you for the great review, unfortunately we didn't had time to balance the puzzle, so this kind of feedback is exactly what we need to move forward. We are for sure, as soon as the evaluations finish, keep working on the project to at least have a well balanced puzzle and a more polished interactions :) Thanks for playing!
Visuals are great! I think having different sensitivity on the 2 mouse axis is not great.
Nice game overall but In really like the aesthetic.
Environment and the assets look great! The mouse look is a bit weird for me, as the up/down axis is very slow to move.
Very cool idea, i was struggling quite a bit on what to do but the looming threat of whatever was supposed to be coming is nerve racking .Great job, sorry i couldnt beat it.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! Yeah Puzzles are hard to balance in such a short time, who knows maybe after the jam we do some adjusting on the level design :D
