What a fun little adventure! So much charm packed into a short point and click, and great music to boot!

Wow great work! I loved the art and the sound. I liked how you incorporated the theme into the loop. I enjoyed the dialogue (informative and funny). I liked the idea of the Hint system that was suggested by another user, I think that could be a useful addition. It took me a while to figure out some parts, but I was able to eventually make it to the end :) Awesome submission!
AMAZING!!! loved the art style, musics and the originality i think this game is in my top 3 list.
I love point and click games! I really liked your game! Some jokes were fun, like the monkey island one. I have to say, it brought me some nostalgia feelings, good job!
I really wanted to try the game, but when trying to run it on my Linux I'm being asked for a lot of Libs that I don't have.
Apparently this is happening because I developed at Love, since the same does not happen with games developed in other engines, such as Unity, Godot and GDevelop.
It's probably because the love binary included in the AppImage was built with a newer version of glibc. You could try if the AppImage of the older version of LÖVE (11.3) works on 16.04. If it does, I can easily put together a version of the game that uses that instead of the newest version.
What I liked:
- The artwork is great. I'm personally not a fan of the colors you chose, but that didn't hinder my appreciation of the art itself.
- Hover dialogue/text above objects that can be interacted with is implemented really well. I didn't feel like I was missing anything.
- Music was really well done. It fit the game completely.
Suggestions/Feedback
- This is kind of a personal peeve but it leads to an overpoint. I feel like the Escape key should also close the inventory. My instinct was to just hit escape. When that didn't work, I quickly figured out that I need to click on the inventory bag again. This leads into the point of alternate keys. I'm still working on this myself. Depending on the type of game, some people (myself included) like to use WASD for movement, spacebar to jump, escape to close things. Others prefer arrow keys and keys like ASZX for actions (i think part of that is due to emulators, but thats just a guess.) So in the future, just keep that in mind.
- This game could really benefit from a hint system. You could implement a journal that keeps track of what you just accomplished, with key requirements for the next step be bold or italicized in the text. Or make it timer based where the character thinks to themself and that hints at the next step.
Overall this is a really good entry and you should be proud of what you accomplished!
Superb! Great atmosphere. Has that distinct indie exploration game feel (which is a good thing!) Colors made me very nostalgic.
Great art style, very reminiscent of gameboy era games. Not a huge fan of point and click myself but enjoyed the story and setting of this game. Good job!
