Really cool and unique idea. It reminds me a lot of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games I used to play and much like those games, it was really fun trying to string together a long combo.

One small issue I had was with the balance meter for grinding and manuals. Since they don't seem to reset during a combo, even if you haven't done a grind or manual in a while, I had times where I would start one and instantly bail. I guess partly that's on me for not keeping my balance better, but it also felt like sometimes I had no chance to correct myself.

Other than that, it was really fun. Rad game!

Absolutely love the concept and execution. Definitely one of my favorites entries

The game mechanics themselves were well designed, but I think a major problem for those of us who are not experienced in skateboarding is that it's very hard to know what the moves are.

When I looked up the controls in the game, I actually didn't know what an ollie or a grind is so I was just as confused as before. And I had no idea what combination of keys would produce a trick so I was just mashing buttons for most of it. Didn't know how to do a balancing move on the rails at all.

When I was fortunate enough to execute a trick it ran pretty smoothly, but I think there really should have been a tutorial explaining the skateboard terms.

Keyboard controls a bit confusing at first. But once you understand them it's very enjoyable. Nice game.

Wonderful game, pretty addicting, but the keyboard controls are not easy to get used to. If I revisit it, I'll use a controller for sure. Recommending a controller would be a good addition to the starting screen or the game's page. I felt that the rails were pretty unforgiving - balance meter seems to really favor starting close to the left edge and there's very little time to correct before you're thrown off.  I was expecting the meter to always start in the middle when I landed on a rail, but that didn't happen. The art and music are fantastic, although the animating letters can get a little overwhelming after some time (I know that's mainly part of the style though). Impressive execution on a 2D skating game, be proud!

What an amazing game! I can't stop playing it!

It's really satisfying to land a combo or even just a simple trick. The music fits in really well and the art is great.

Smooth gameplay experience, also very nice polish on the UI elements.

What an incredible level of polish!

Super fun once I got the hang of it, but would love an intro screen with the controls. The cleanest entry I've played so far for sure

The UI is really good, and the music is great. I'm kind of terrible ad doing the tricks though. The game also feels a little slow, but maybe its just cuz I'm bad. Overall, definitely executed well. The game looks really put together.
