How does your game represent Mode?
The player can enter different "Mode" states by collecting scrap dropped by enemies.
Whichever scrap is the mathematical "mode" (the highest in frequency), the player's mode is forced to change.

Did a fair bit of running around before the softlock, it was very pretty and the music was nice and relaxing. Interested to see where you go next!

I played around with this for a bit, platforms are my favorite genre. I think you're on the right path.

Great work! Surprised at how large the first level was. Got stuck sliding under a passageway that was too long (or something, I ended up stuck in the “falling” stat). Bugs are to be expected in a game jam tho!

A very good proof of concept. This is definitely something that could be expanded on. I love the animations of the main character, and the character archetype switching is cool. Biggest issue i had with this is the sliding, i had to restart because i halfway slid through a sliding area and then just got frozen in place. Overall though, great job!

Impressive scope here, especially the detailed character model and smooth walking/attack animations! I like the 3D sidescroller style and you've designed a remarkably large environment to explore. The mode switching idea is neat, and I bet you could expand on that in some really interesting ways later if you decide to add more features. Great job reaching the finish line!

Thank you! We are definitely most proud of our character models and animations. We had unique ones for each mode, as can be seen in the thumbnail, but rendering time caught up to us at the end. We appreciate the kind words!
