Spatial puzzle reminds me of good old days of Picross 3d.I guess this might be a good time-killer on mobile.

It looks great, plays smooth, but I found myself quickly giving up trying to figure out the rules of the blocks and just clicking on anything sticking out :).

It would just be great if you could rotate the cube by clicking and dragging in the background so I don't have to switch between mouse and keyboard input.

It's actually relaxing once you stop trying to complete the level as soon as possible and just focus on the blocks in front of you.

Yeah, the block rules are not super obvious and make it less of a puzzle than I would have liked, haha.

I was hoping to add click + drag rotation controls as a stretch goal but ran out of time. Definitely agree that would have been better (and maybe make it playable on touchscreen/mobile as well).

I think a more fleshed out version of this might have a “time trial” mode and a “fewest moves” mode, which might be more interesting for people who like to play slower. As it stands I think it’s more just like a bubble-wrap popping fidget toy, haha.

Thanks for playing!

Beautiful! Just needs something to make the gameplay engaging, but I love what you've created so far.

I appreciated all the work that was put into the game page.

Is there some strategy to this other than wacking all the moles before moving on to the next random cube?

Developer

To be honest, that is pretty much the best strategy I came up with too. I wanted to have (and partially implemented) a “harder” mode that would be a little more like Simon Says and require the player to actually remember some patterns instead of just hitting them as they came up, but ran out of time.

I also think it would be nicer to have some sort of pattern or clues to follow (maybe colors or symbols?) so it’s not just blind guesswork, but I couldn’t think of anything before it was time to submit.

Really love this! It feels so frustrating yet satisfying once you finish. The cube is beautifully animated and all the colors really pop. Awesome game :D
