I really liked the setting, it felt creepy and i liked it. when i died i couldn't get back to the menu and had to reload the page. and I died a few times. I really liked the music too. Anyway, it's a game I would like to play more, are there any plans to continue?

Art is pretty nice. Now that I take a second look at it.. is in Pixel Art? I had such a hard time making pixel arts that I just abandoned it .. haha. Well, my only "critique" is that...visually, it's a bit hard to tell what you can collide on, and which are just background images.. after the first "passage", there was a platform right above the player, preventing it to jump. Thought the controls wasn't working properly at first.

- and .. the "Interact" tooltip blocks view, at certain points, you interact with certain "passages" in game, and it takes you to the next room, and when there are enemies in the next room, you're trying to decide what to do, the tooltip big enough to cover the character. Only way to make it disappear is by moving away from that area.

Art: I like it, only thing I'd change is make some enemies a bit brighter, they can be a bit hard to see on the dark background.

Music: Fits the game. And it changes at the boss fight, which is nice too.

Writing: done by a sound effects person? (Saying this because I read the credits screen.) I think the story is told without words, so I would probably have used a different word (maybe "script", although in programming, that's a different thing... so maybe "story" or "script" depending on how detailed the writing was).

Suggestion: end with the menu, rather than a black screen (I know I can get the menu by pressing escape, but I'd have preferred to get it automatically, or the game to just keep showing the "thanks for playing" message so I didn't wait several minutes to see if anything else would show up). And since the credits screen can fit on the screen all at once, maybe when the player chooses it from the menu you can show it without the animation and just with a button to go back to the menu.

Thanks for playing our game for the feedback.  It only helps us to get better! The credits  were out of sync a bit.  So the writing was actually done by @bigbosshardfacts.  You can find him here on itch.  But our sound engineer, Nawelus, worked just as hard at the music and sfx.   There is more to the story then what we were able to put together.  Hopefully we can still develop this game to it's full potential to tell the rest.  And thank you for the suggestion on how to better present to our audience.  Much appreciated!e

I really liked your neat graphic style of play, it's very beautiful, but I had a problem at the third location - I just got stuck between the platforms without being able to jump or fall (maybe because of the enemy), and I'm also a little confused about the jump: about its gravity and its animation, but the game still seems interesting and graphically appealing, and I want to play it when it is polished.

Quick fun game with a lot of great art and a lot of issues with gameplay.

My issues:

1. Sound was either non existent or did not work until the credits.  (Fixed)

2. Save/Load did not work for me after I died. (Fixed)

3. I had no idea what I was doing until my 4th try.

The good:

1. Great story built just from context

2. Amazing art

3. Fit the theme well

Overall, it was a fun game to play and the first one that I was able to complete!

Thanks for playing! Ran into a few issues in the last days of development. We just fixed some of the sound bugs! Thanks for the feedback!

Hey, thanks for playing!  I encourage you to give another try, now that we have some sound in there.  If you have saved your game and die, once you start a new game, the load button will load your previous game.  I guess I overthought the fact of people wanting to load from the main screen.  Thanks for your feedback.  It truly helps us to get better.

I gave it another try and the first two issues were fixed!
