Good start. I think maybe bring the camera back a bit and make the spaces a bit larger. Your character takes up a bit too much of the screen space. Some of the doors show the wrong side when you peek through them. Interested to see where this goes.

Developer

Thanks for playing, i've seen on a stream someone peeking on the wrong side of some doors somehow, i'll check that out

Good start! good movement and all that. Keep at it!

Thanks a lot, i'm trying to have a nice feeling character controller

Nice tech, things are very fluent and I like the visual style, too. I was confused about the "interact" vs. "interact more" buttons, mostly it seems to be F that does things, E is for very special play moves. Would feel sensible if F was Right Mouse button instead.

Noticed one bug, the vents on top of the ceiling would trap me / can glitch completely into them by pressing X when trapped.

Thanks for playing and recording it!

yeah, the screen cue about "E" interactions come later than the "F" ones when you stand in an interaction zone, so i guess it's hard to see when it's avaible

About the bug, once i'll have the next building's floor added over this one, player won't be able to walk (standing) through the vents, and you can't stand back up once you're ramping there cause there's something over your head preventing you from standing

I really like the art and the 2.5D! It's rather bare bones. What other mechanics are you thinking other than sneaking?

One bug I found: guard can't capture you if the character is laying down hence no game over.

Thanks for playing and reporting the bug, i didn't find it while testing yesterday

I'm planning on adding a VN style story (with replayable events), sneaking missions and some mini-games (will take the one from my old game for example). as for stealth mechanics, i'll clean them off first cause the code's a bit messy and i still have some bugs with detection
