Enjoyed the game a lot. It was fun trying out the different builds. The art is very cute and off to a good start! The gameplay loop was solid as well. I didn't encounter any bugs or anything of note. Cant wait to see more progress

I did not record a video this time, but I took screenshots and wrote down some things. Here it goes:

  • The first thing I had done when I opened the window was open the controls to change bindings. The first time I changed fire1 to Space, it said “Pause”. Binding it to space again changed it to space

  • I died the first run, but I cleared the dungeon on my second run

  • I did not receive any gold during the dungeon run. I also did not get any gold for clearing the dungeon

  • There is a bug which allows you to receive 10 gold every time I go back to the menu. I pressed “Start” and “Go Back” multiple times until I unlocked the bomb girl.

  • Bomb girl unlocks when you get 510 gold, not 500.

  • Bomb girl does not work at all, and restarting dungeon spawns the witch.

  • Upgrades can show up even on Game Over and Dungeon Cleaned

  • I do not understand the gimmick of the underground enemies, so I always end up with lots of them just chasing me. It looks like I usually gotta tank a hit for them to show up, and then I can kill them. I think it would be good if they appeared on their own from time to time.

  • I know nothing saves, but some things also do not reset properly. I had one run starting with thunder even thou I did not put any masteries into them.

  • “Dungeon Cleaned” text needs some padding. It should not add screen edges like that.

  • Ghost girls are cute, please make them blush

  • Smaller slimes being faster is great. Maybe you could add some enemies with faster projectiles too.

  • Some enemies still stuck on pillars

  • The last DD I played, I found walking speed and thunder to be OP, this time I finished runs with no thunder, but going full on fire. The walking speed was not that useful this time because of me not fully understanding the underground enemies, but I still liked taking it. Ice Aura was good for the last 30 seconds of dungeons. My least liked and used spell was the ice projectile.

Thank your observations, I will look out the bugs you mentioned. Underground enemies will have their code retouched in the future, the idea is to pressure the player with something they cannot damage until it's exposed, so is something I have to work on. Also, I liked your idea for the ghost girls, I will add blush.

Yeah, my problem with the underground enemies was they never exposed themselves to me and just kept chasing me. I look forward to blushing ghost girls

The gameplay loop is great, enjoyed the balancing - just when I was about to get bored - new enemies spawned.

Found a bug - you get +10 coins every time you go from the main menu to the character screen.
And as others have written - your art style are really cute. Looking forward to other characters.

It is was very helpful seeing how other people make choices in the game. Also, when your feedback on the portrait is something I will take in account, specially with the priest... maybe I will redraw her.  By the way, characters already have names: Luna, the Witch Girl. Zelvy, the Bomber ELf. Iris, the Doctor Cyclops and Selene, the Moon Priest. There's no name in the character select screen because I wanna make in the future some hand drawn names with more personality instead of the regular font.  Thank you for testing the demo and giving feedback.

This has been getting more and more fun. Played three full rounds for now, you get moon coins way too slow but I guess you can't really unlock the other characters anyway. 

Will there be completely different masteries for each character in the end? Love the designs by the way, the music is on its way o/. 

Shy girl enemy was very cute and fun, diggers spooked me the first time, they stack up quickly when you avoid them. 

Have you considered adding something like bosses long term? Think it would be fun, bosses and perhaps some different levels and modes.

I am glad you like it. Each character will have their own masteries and their own gameplay, because even if the game is inspired by Vampire Survivors, I will create characters with gameplay differences instead of just changing their stats. 

And yes, I will add bosses in the future, right now I'm thinking of a boss for appear at the half of the round and then one at the final. The final one will be a "Monster Invoker" and he is the reason why the dungeon is so infested with monster, once is defeated, the player win the game.

***I highly recommend use the masteries for the witch girl, otherwise the game will be challenging***

Alpha Ver.0.0.3 Summary:

- Added GamePad Support to the main gameplay and menus.

-Added Keyboard and Gamepad rebind functionality, it also save your last configuration.

- Added 2 new enemies, each with different behaviors:

1- Shy Lady Ghost: If you face her she will cover her face, when you turn your back she will attack you.

2- Digger: A worm creature which goes bellow ground and exposed himself when he try to attack you. 

- Added an arrow to the character which show where the player is aiming his attacks, it change between keyboard and mouse automatically.

- Added portrait of the upcoming characters: Iris and Selene.

- Temporally removed access the Bomber Elf in this version, I'm working on her ingames mechanics.

- Added a music prototype for the game, still a WIP.

- Added a new power up: Ice Aura. It deal ice damage around the player every few seconds.

- A bug witch freeze the game for several second when killing large amount slimes has been fixed.

- Code optimizationhas been implemented for the damage pop up numbers.

- Minor UI resolution bugs fixed.
