Hi, really cool visuals on this one! I love the low poly style and the dreamy atmosphere the game has to offer. It should need a little bit of polishing but it's understandable for a jam game to not be very polished. The rabbits were a little bit difficult to catch but overall a really enjoyable experience.

Really nice job and good luck with the jam <3333

Yeah, even this isn't up to my usual standards for jam games in term of polish.  I was working full time with my programming internship and really didn't feel like programming when I came back from work, so I decided to mix it up and focus on the visual aspect of the game!

Great visual style and fun game

The game looks great - nice work!

I did feel it could've helped having some instructions on what your objective is in the game itself, but overall it was a great experience.

The game is really beautifull , I love this kind of style. It was fun to run around while being a fox and chasing weird bunnies :)

This game looks awesome. Nice low poly visuals! The start cutscene and rabbit aberration cutscene were nice additions, although I think maybe a skip button would be a good idea for any future improvements. The camera for me was not having a great time, but that might just be the WebGL version. The large indicators for as to where the rabbits are are great, as it really highlights the objective, especially when the area is very open. Good idea, I really liked that! however, catching the rabbits was unfortunately quite difficult, due to the speed and trajectory of the rabbits. I also didn't complete the game, because of me accidentally pressing a button combo that closed the window (Oops!) Overall, this game has beautiful graphics, with alright gameplay and good sound design where it comes in. Nice Job!

Yeah, I didn't have time to polish the game to my usual standard. I will definitely add some menu feature and cutscene skip later down the line! I implemented 4 of the 6 hare behaviour on the last day of the jam, and the gameplay polish stinks a bit because of it. I also want to fix the camera collisions because you feel like you fight against them most of the time.

Thanks for taking the time to play and leave feedback!

You're welcome! happy to give feedback, always try to be nice :). It's good you have ideas to update it, maybe it will turn into  a full game. Good luck if you do that!

Looks great! I think it's a quite literal interpretation of the theme of the jam. You even added a little bit of chromatic aberration to it.

My main problem is with the movement. For example, there's a part of the game where you need to do some platforming to get to your prey, but you don't have a jump, so you need to rely on the dash.

Developer

Yeah, I didn't have time to teach the mechanics of the movement explicitly. The way the dash works is that it goes farther the faster you go. I designed the jumps so they are doable without jumps, and I didnt want to implement one for that game.

Thanks for playing!

The visuals and animations are gorgeous. It controls quite well and it if fun top chase the rabbits.

Love the visuals! The setting is giving off kind of a nostalgic vibe. It would be cool if you could swim in the river. I wonder how the game would look like if you added more foliage

I like that hares are running away and not just standing, adds more gameplay to the game.

When I was chasing the second hare that climbs up the rocks, my game crashed. I came near the hare but it jumped off the rock and started running away, and that's when the game froze...

Developer

were you playing the WebGL version or the Executable version?

The executable one
