I like the simple but polished animations/graphics :) The time checkpoint mechanic seems like an interesting idea... would be interesting to see some more ideas explored on how to use this mechanic practically other than just saving :) Good job!

I love this graphic style! I think that this game should be converted into a full game, it has a lot of potentials!

Definitely agree, the bit-style art works well. Especially love the walk cycle and boss attack animations as well as using selective colors to highlight important parts of the map! The music is also a nice teaser, I could definitely see a whole album of that kind of music for the game.

Even tho it's short, I'd love to see this idea fleshed into a larger game, maybe with more survival elements where you need to keep moving to avoid the boss and the battle would take course over days.
