Very cute and very clever! Procedural narrative on the Game Boy is a wild feat. The descriptions of each locale is short and sweet. I was able to make it out with 7 coins.
aha! something different! Feels like a classic text-adventure game, which is pretty sweet. Had fun with this one. nice work!
Nice! Different to all the others.
Slow calm pace, having to read the text. I am impressed by the generated texts, not far from what some humans write.
Unfortunately, in Browser with PS nor XBox controler worked. I used keyboard arrows, but there no A nor B .. I could not take items.
But I like what I have seen ... mean read!
Hi! The browser emulator uses X and Z for the A an B buttons respectively :)
This was an interesting change of pace. I don't think I've ever played a text-based adventure game like this where you move just with the arrow keys instead of typing 'go north' etc. It works really well. I liked the writing of each of the rooms, and the sense of exploration. It looks like there's some fun, simple puzzles included. My first playthrough only had one actual puzzle to solve, one involving a cat(!), is the number of puzzles in each game randomised too?
Hi, thanks for playing and your kind words! The number of obstacles is indeed randomised (up to 4). The algorithm tries to come up with some clever placements, but sometimes you’ll end up with an easier map :)
