The 8-bit audio style doesn't really match well with the models and textures, I think. The textures and model size is pretty decent, if not cartoony, which I think clashes a lot with the blips bleeps and bloops.

It took me a bit to learn that the hand was your health meter, which caught me off guard because it didn't seem to change too much at first. But I like it! It's very diagetic. Reminds me of Jurassic Park: Trespasser, except without the tits. And actually fun.

This feels pretty good. Also echoing as another said that in-game instructions would be better, as I missed them initially, having downloaded from the jam page.

I was a little disappointed that the rocks wouldn’t block the totem beam! Conscious choice / balance thing, or just a time limitation?

I survived 8 rounds! Nice enemies and I am personally fond of your death animation ;)

This was fun! I had fun switching between the different weapons based on which enemy I was fighting. The visuals were kind of nice too. I like the subtle pixel effect - a lot of jam games overdo the pixel effect, but it looked good in this one.

Feedback: I would've liked to use 1-3 on my keyboard to switch weapons. If the controls showed in-game, that would've been cool. I didn't know I could switch weapons until I came back to the itch page.

Fighting was fun, and it felt like a strategy game when deciding which weapon to use. I had a good time!

Another fan of devil daggers, I see! I too used it as a reference for my game
