Very fluid mechanics, with satisfying controls. Plays like a true console game of the era!

Solid animations, tight gameplay and the queen randomization mechanic is a really nice touch! Also, bees are awesome. Looking forward to more Emergency Queen!

Amazing graphics and voice acting too! I agree with Skeletim, I hope this project keeps going! :)

Although it's only a demo, this game took me back to games like Spyro. I want to explore this bee world and learn its secrets. The cute tutorial writing sold me immediately. The first iteration was a completely different genre and lacked a lot of the polish of the new build (tho I miss the bee on the drum set, or maybe I didn't find him?). There's certainly fine tuning that can be made on the combat, camera, and UI, but after the remarkable spring cleaning job on this concept, I sincerely hope work continues on Emergency Queen!

Cute little game idea, I understand it's still pretty WIP but here's what I think so far: Camera turning is rather slow which makes it a bit annoying. It's also kinda hard to judge depth without any lighting, even with the blob shadows. I'd suggest trying to use a bit of darkening fog to add depth if you wish to stick with an unlit look. Other than that, I really enjoy the look of the bee cherubs, they are adorable. Can't quite say that the graphics are totally 90's though :P, but they are good n simple.
