Love it. Hope it will get to the final game!

Developer

Thanks :)

Making a full small game out of it is my plan!

Good simple (in good way)) concept! Intrestenting technology, gonna research too

Developer

Thanks!

Yeah, give it a go :)

Wow, awesome idea! Never heard of caustics branch before, would definitely give it a try now!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for checking it out!

And I definitely recommend to play around with caustics branch as well :)

Cool as a little tech demo. Makes me want to play around with that branch myself.

Developer

Have a thought about making it into a learning sandbox about optics :D

Very cool caustics game 👍

Developer

Thanks!

Interesting idea. Personally, i found the click mechanic to be tedious since you click, find out it's not what you want, then have to click more to get back to the ideal rotation. Would have preferred more precise control (like dragging to rotate).

I also noticed there was some performance degradation that made the interaction worse as the game continued, but that's RTX for you haha. Good effort though!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for trying it out and giving some suggestions for improvements!

Actually, dragging and rotate for lenses is a great idea, will explore it in the post-jam version of the game :)

As for performance, yeah, it can decrease as amount of rays increase, have done some optimization though, but seems that it is not enough for certain cases, hehe. Something for me to improve in the future.

Impressive and well implemented puzzle. Interesting usage of RTX, really like the visual style of the game! Good luck in the competition :)

Thank you for playing it!

Have tried to mimic PS1 era visuals :)

What a cool use of raytracing and realtime caustics! Impressively clever puzzles that had my brain running almost as hot as my video card!

This should be a serious contender for the raytracing modifier, even if it probably wasn't what they had expected when they came up with it.

Thanks for playing the game!

I am super happy to hear such positive feedback, the part about the video card literally made me laugh :D

Definitely aiming toward the RayTracing modifier, was quite a run to build the core mechanics around it!
