Neat idea combining two different jam constraints. The game is fun and a bit challenging. My only feedback would be letting the player type their guess so it would be more impactful if they got it right. Cool game!

Edit: Just read the game description on why you decided against having the player type in their guess. That makes sense.

Thank you for playing my game! Glad you find it fun. I like very short gameplay and simple control. It turns out my game idea fits two different game jams.

This is a really cool idea! I thought is was really fun and clever to combine those two games into one. the art is also nice.

The premise is interesting, but what I don't understand is the hangman part, because yes, I get the words in the chests, but then what?

Developer

Thank you for playing my game. The premise is that, unlike hangman, you could choose which letter to uncover by getting a frog there, and then guess the word if you can't uncover all 6 letters at the end. Instead of having the player to enter the guess in a textbox, I let the player to simply make the guess in their head and click a choice to see the answer. After the gameplay has ended, it asks what you want to do next. Click and it will give you 3 choices: reveal the word, replay the same word, or play a new word. You have to click to see the 3 choices. I did not put the three choices right there and you have to click once, because I have found that if I did, I often clicked on a choice unintentionally when I was still frantically clicking at the last second. Hope this answer the question.

I understand now, thank you

Developer

You're welcome. Actually, thanks for the feedback. I assume you did not click to see the 3 choices when the game ends, so I have updated the game to make it more obvious to the player to click to see the choices, which include revealing the word.

Thanks, but I remember selecting all three options
