Thank you for the feedback! These are great suggestions. I wasn't sure how to make the game more rewarding, but that medal system is a great idea. I will work on adding that in the next update.

Thank you for the feedback! This is my first game in GameMaker so I couldn't implement everything I wanted to in 1 week, but I'm planning to add score and collectibles in a future update. Flies are a great idea for a collectible.

Hope you had fun!

I'm glad you liked it! Let me know if you get to the end of World 1. Great frog pun btw

This game is great! There are a bunch of different interactions with the dash attack that make timing it well super fun and satisfying. I didn't end up using the bomb attack much other than for DPS on the bosses, The second boss fight was super fun. The art style is charming and the use of sound design is really helpful when fighting the bosses. I would definitely play more levels of this game.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Let me know what you think!

Also, if you liked the game, see how fast you can beat all 5 levels. My best is 2m15s!

Pretty fun, reminds me of Doodle Jump

The controls and movement are solid, and the art style is charming. My only complaint is the movement of the platforms is wonky and random.

The game is fun but you can easily cheese it by spamming the direction keys and avoid timing altogether. I would add a game over if the player taps the direction keys too early.

Cool concept and pretty addictive. After collecting one of the trophies I wanted to go and unlock them all. It's impressive how much functionality is packed into just two buttons. I like the addition of dialog boxes to hint the player to find a way to unlock the doors and remind them to repair the pickaxe before they break it. Overall good game.

P.S. I love your Borderlands videos <3

The art style is awesome. The fight minigame is the most fun by far. I'd say the only downside is the limited minigames and the fact there is nothing stopping them from playing back to back. For example, on my run, I got one of the minigames 3 times in a row, which is weird.

Neat idea combining two different jam constraints. The game is fun and a bit challenging. My only feedback would be letting the player type their guess so it would be more impactful if they got it right. Cool game!

Edit: Just read the game description on why you decided against having the player type in their guess. That makes sense.
