Nice stealth game with fast-paced music!

I made a top ten video of the games from this jam. (Spoiler alert, this game is in it)

If you like the video, please feel free to share it :)

Check it out!

Hey thank you so much! I am honored!

Dang sweet soundtrack, this game kinda gives me screeps vibes. Awesome submission!

Developer

Thank you, I am honored to be compared!

Very Fun, well executed.

More levels would be great, and maybe some incremental rewards to keep the player engaged.

Great Job!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I had 3 levels planed, but ran out of time. It was going to be Cave then city and then space.
Upgrades would have been a great idea and probably super easy to implement, thanks!

the game is enjoyable so far, the spinning and walking ones aren't a big of the deal since there're a lots of corners to hide, it's just a bit annoy that there's sometimes a shadow even though there's is no wall at the bottom of the spawn point and the walls was too thin.

Developer(+1)

I added that to be a hidden shortcut around the first section. But yeah it looks a little weird with the shadow and no wall. And by too thin do you mean the enemies can see you through walls? I noticed that would happen and instead of fixing it I just designed around it. So my apologizes if there was some spots where that happens.
But thank you for the feedback, I always appreciate criticism to learn and get better.

It has a very simple and fun gameplay and I enjoyed it a lot but some enemies move very fast and sometimes they appear in front of me which really pissed me off

Developer

Yeah I wasn't able to get the enemy movement how I wanted it. They "spin" around in a single frame making it difficult.
Thank you for playing and leaving a comment!

I really enjoyed the challenge of this game, the variety of enemy patterns and hallways/situations to traverse provided more depth than I anticipated when I first started. One interaction that I kept losing to was that when enemies are pacing back and forth, they turn on a dime and their light catches me before I can process/see that the enemy has turned. I wished there was a bit of lag or a swing on the arc of the light like how the rotating enemies lights spin in a circle  further in. I might just need to get good though :P.

Developer

I tried to make the enemies rotate in script when I should have used animations. But by that time it was to late. I think I spent too much time on the shadows and not enough on the "game feel".

Thank you for the feedback I appreciate it!
