As I always say, re made of atari games means you are a golden gamer!!

The game is smooth and relaxing, the music really set the mode up, but I have one thing to say about it, when the power up dropping down they got so fast, I think you add gravity to it, but it does not have to be like this,  I can't reach most of them.

But over all good thinking and great game.

Thank You! for reply

I want power ups to go up and then fall down, but I think gravity is to much😅😅

I will try on less gravity

Very cool and relaxing breakout clone! I loved the piano notes when I hit a block. Nice job!

Fun entry. Can't go wrong with a good game of breakout. Levels were fun, power-ups were nice and the game just overall felt very smooth. The piano chimes were also a vey nice touch. Super awesome job! :)

Thank You So much!

Very clean design and great execution! I like the used of piano notes and audio in general, it really gives the game personality.

I saw below you are looking into Godot in the future. For my game this time, I tried out Phaser.js which takes care of some game engine tasks, but still let's you do a lot of things your own way (and code in JavaScript which it looks like you used for this game). I recommend checking that out, too ^-^

Nice job!

Developer(+1)

well javascript is my favourite language. I will try phaser.js

Ay nice! Let me know what you make with it :D

Well, this is a classic. Great work. The fact that you didn’t use a gam engine at all only makes this more impressive.

Thanks for sharing.

Developer(+1)

it's not like I didn't used. The fact is till now I don't know any engine and in clg I just learned js(html5) so, But in future I will definitely try to learn a engine

My opinon remains consistant. Regardless of your reason, it is impressive.

Classic breakout, for not using an engine and making it yourself it's pretty good, keep it up!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

I didn't used game engine b'coz I don't no how to use any😅😅

Well I have started practice with godot.

Thanks For feedback

A simple breakout clone. Breakout does fit the jam theme well. I liked the chill music and how well the game was recreated.

I do think the sound effects are too loud compared to the music. Also, when I would change directions, I noticed that the paddle would sometimes stick in place for a second. I’m not sure what causes it as it seems to be random.

Nice job on submitting for your first competition!
