I liked the camera movement very much!

I didn't like how to use x at level 2

The game feels pretty good to play, although some coyote timing would be nice.  My biggest critique has to be the palette since there are more than 2 colors. The document has a different shade of green than the rest of the game, and the brick texture has white in it. Still fun overall. Is the music original btw?

Thanks for playing! The music is made by our composer https://joosef.itch.io/

Very nice platformer, with a good soundtrack and pleasant palette selection. I think I run to a bug at a certain point, the countdown stuck at -19!

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it. Apologies for the bugs!

Fun game! I like the graphics a lot. The colors used are pleasant on the eyes, and the sprites are simple, but good. I'm a big platformer fan, so I really enjoyed the gameplay. The dash was fun, but I wish it was on another button since I usually use A and D to move, which made it hard to hit the X button. I liked the idea of the camera framing each room to make the player only focus on what's important, but sometimes the camera didn't follow the player quickly enough, and sometimes it move to the room above me briefly. There was also a visual bug where the background got these weird lines for some reason? I'm not sure what caused the lines, since they just appeared at random... The entire game kind of reminded me of the escape sequences from the Metroid games, especially with the music and countdown. Overall, I liked this game! Good job :)

Hi! I'm the designer of this game. Thank you for your comment!

Yes, the dash button was a big oversight which I did not think of since I usually play with arrow keys. Sorry about that.

I apologize for the camera and visual bugs, but I'm glad you still had fun. We were going for a Metroid vibe so I'm glad you picked up on it!

Well-done on making this big, interconnected level.

It would be helpful to have a head-up display so the player can see the keys and documents collected so far.

Note that X is not a good key to use for the dash move, because it's so hard to press at the same time as A or D.

From time to time, I was unable to go through a door, even though it was open. Below is an example.

Hi! I am the designer of this game. Thank you very much for your feedback! Yes, the UI and communication could be a lot clearer, but we unfortunately didn't have time to implement everything.

The door you mentioned is one of the problems with the game's lacking communication.
That type of door closes after a certain amount of time. There is timer on the door while it's open that shows how much time you have before it closes, but nothing that explains what it is once it is already closed. Sorry about that.

I normally play with the arrow keys instead of WASD, so I didn't even consider that the X key would be a bad choice! I should've assigned another key to the dash as well, but thanks to you, I will know for next time.

But thank you for trying out our game and commenting on it! Much appreciated.
