I like the concept and the graphics. Something about the execution rubs me the wrong way, however. Fumbling in the dark with a single arrow that you have to physically reclaim is tedious, and it's quite annoying how the slow text starts over with every death. I found the ghosts confusing, and they add to the unpleasant trial and error.
FYI, there's some anti-aliasing on text and buttons on the title screen that introduce an extra color.
I agree with the issues pointed out by tech_hutch, they articulated the way I felt playing the game perfectly.
Otherwise, very beautiful presentation and great music!
The artstyle of this is really appealing and I like the story, but the text speed feels a bit sluggish unfortunately. Maybe if the text was sped up a bit or didn't vanish upon death it would be easier to read. Overall a cool game though.
I like the color choice and art style. The controls were easy to pick up :)
Great entry! One of the strongest I have played so far! Arrow and light mechanics are really cool and it captured the vibe of being in a tower perfectly. I don't think it would hurt to be able to see a little more around the player, but I was able to get to the end with no problem. I am not sure if the story text being to the side was the best choice. I mostly just skipped over it since gameplay was available at the same time. When I got to the end, I walked off screen to the left, and then the game just went dark. I think it was a bug. Keep up the awesome work!
The concept is good and the puzzles are smart.
When the arrow is shooted out of the screen, it won't return to the player, forcing him to lose if the arrow is necessary.
