@Jupiter_Hadley:
Thanks for playing our game :) You were just a few more clicks away from encountering the first enemy (on the second level, reached on the Map screen). Anyways, I have uploaded the somewhat improved version here, there are now people that join your party and they fight on your side. But there's still much to add to the game.

Neat concept! I included it in a compilation video series of all of the 1-Bit Clicker Jam games, if you'd like to take a look :)

@ptrick: Thanks for the feedback, indeed you're right, the entry I posted just before the deadline had the sync issue. I have now updated this version with a fix for this problem (only changed this, according to Kronbits minor changes are allowed) and have an extended version of the game as well here.

@Turbo Hermit: Thanks! :)

Hey there, so I just wanted to report that I loved the concept but I am not entirely sure on your calibration. So I'm a musician and have a pretty developed sense of beat. I went through the calibration exercises and when I started playing I purposefully had to delay my beat a bit to get it to start moving the cube thing. I really think this has potential, but it was very frustrating having to go off beat to get it to work.

My PC is 32GB memory/8 core and was using Chrome. It wasn't a specs issue i don't think.

Great potential when polished some more. Great sound as well.
