Golf Peaks is a puzzle game where you play mini golf in levels of abstract tiles. Instead of the usual mini golf game mechanic of 'choose your angle, find the right power level', for each level you're provided a set of cards with individual moves for you to choose from. It's up to you to figure out the correct combination/order to get you to the hole.
The game does an excellent job of tutorialising, so I never felt confused, and I was always focused on puzzle solving. The puzzles ramped up in difficulty at the right pace to stay challenging but avoid becoming off-putting, and the constant introduction of new mechanics kept each new world interesting and engaging.
